Didn’t get the promotion, then when I saw another (less high) position was open, I tried for THAT and was shot down because I’m not good enough for that either. And learning that in the morning just fucks with your whole day, I had no motivation, I had no incentive. I spent the whole day deciding how best to quit my job to leave everyone on my team inconvenienced to make them pay for rejecting me.
Not healthy happy thoughts.
