I'm a Pirate too and I think the gay-bashing storyline would've been much more believable, especially after they introduced Nick last episode. Every Dave-related plot has been taken to a complete extreme and I feel like I'm one of the few Kurtofsky shippers who hates the way his story has unfolded.
Yes. HOWEVER - I thought they handled the end of the episode nicely. They had Dave give a real mea culpa, no strings attached, no victim blaming. Plus a cute little glimpse of his future.
They also used it to redeem Sebastian - who ALSO gave a no-excuses apology, and it also explained why they didn’t do Michael Jackson songs at regionals.
But holy SHIT the first half of the episode. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. That five seconds with Paul Karofsky LEFT ME A FUCKING WRECK. And Dave’s mom’s a homophobe? Awww, bb!
